The Samaria Klezmer Band was founded in 2016 in Šamorín and brings together outstanding musicians from the popular and folk music scene. The ensemble presents authentic Eastern European klezmer music blended with various genres such as world music, jazz, and elements of traditional folk music. The band is characterized by emotional melodies, a dynamic character, and typical instruments such as violin, clarinet, and accordion. Their repertoire includes traditional Yiddish, Israeli, and Sephardic melodies, as well as songs that originated in Jewish theaters of the last century and have since become popular worldwide.
