Theatre Normálka will present the first episode of its ambitious ongoing theatre project in its new venue, the Apartment Theatre “Na prízemí”.
The story of the theatre series Bytovka takes place in the common areas of an unnamed apartment building somewhere in Slovakia. In their “Chamber”, as the tenants themselves jokingly call it, cheerful and perhaps slightly sad stories of the building’s residents will unfold.
Right in the first episode, titled If You Can Hear Us, Knock Twice, the audience will meet the solid core of the community of apartment owners and their tenants. They will be so close to them that they will almost become part of them. New acquaintances and friendships may be formed, or it may all end quite differently than the theatre-makers originally intended. And it is not even out of the question that it will not end at all and will simply continue next time. Everything is possible…
