On Saturday, 14 February 2026 at 11:00 AM, we will set out through the city in a procession that is not just meant to be watched. It is an invitation to walk together. Carnival-style—with music, singing, dancing, masks, and moments that unexpectedly emerge right in the streets.
We will start from St. Anne’s Square and continue along Hviezdoslavova Street, past the Synagogue, via Palackého Street, and on to Mierové Square. Along the way, folklore ensembles, children, musicians, and actors will join in—the procession will grow and change, just as the city itself changes when people take part in it.
The procession will be led by Pavol Seriš (Love) and Juliana Serišová (Curiosity)—two characters who open the weekend and the entire year of Trenčín 2026. Expect short stops and small surprises at places around Trenčín that carry their own stories. We won’t reveal everything in advance—that’s the point: to awaken curiosity and let the city speak live.
If you like, bring a mask or a costume. But feel free to come without one as well—what matters is that you are there. You can join the procession anywhere along the route.
