The opening weekend of the European Capital of Culture Trenčín 2026 will bring an exceptional evening where music, personal stories, and a powerful atmosphere of faith come together.
Following the ceremonial youth Holy Mass at the Parish Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, a concert by three prominent names in contemporary Christian music will take place.
Performing will be:
Janka and Lukáš Zubaj – a married couple whose work touches human hearts through their distinctive worship music.
DJ Damian Custom – a DJ and producer from the Isaac Records collective, who mixes and produces his sets exclusively using Christian Slovak and international music.
Martin “Augustín” Dvornický (Augustín) – a rapper who started out on the streets and in clubs and, after his conversion, now raps at schools, children’s homes, as well as at major Christian festivals.
