Whether you are a student or a senior, an artist or a curious beginner, come and immerse yourself in one of four artistic disciplines – the world of photography, film, performance, or storytelling – under the guidance of professionals from various countries. You will discover new skills, meet inspiring people, and experience summer days you will remember for a long time.

Who is the Summer School of Four Arts for?
Anyone aged 15 to 99+ can apply, and no previous artistic experience is required. At the same time, the workshops are designed to work with diverse groups in a way that deepens knowledge even for professionals.
When will the Summer School take place and how much time will it take?
The Summer School will take place from August 1 to 9, 2025. Each artistic workshop has its own schedule. Some are in the evening, others during the day. You will find specific information in the description of each workshop.

How much does it cost?
Thanks to Trenčín 2026 – European Capital of Culture, participation in the Summer School is free of charge.
How can I apply?
Just fill out a simple form by July 20, 2025, at the latest. However, workshop capacity is limited, so don’t delay your registration.
What is the Summer School of Four Arts – in English, 4 Media Lab?
The Summer School of Four Arts (4 Media Lab) is a format consisting of four artistic workshops focused on different forms of art. In each artistic workshop, we will explore Trenčín together – as a city, a culture, a home, or a place on the map.
With the Summer School of Four Arts, we are building on the activities we carried out last year as part of the Generations Together project. During nine days in October 2024, four different artistic workshops took place, and we shared the results and experiences with each other during a final celebration. This year, we will repeat three of the workshops from last year and add something new – storytelling.
