🌻👥 VNS*25 & friends │ Festival of Music and Contemporary Art in Považská Bystrica
Every year we ask ourselves whether we should organize another edition of the In a New Light Festival (V NOVOM SVETLE). And this year, for the fifth time, the answer is: YES! 🫀
Unfortunately, our motivation is different this time: not to be intimidated! 💪
We invite you to the VNS Festival* on September 5–6, 2025 at KC Cooltajner in Považská Bystrica. 🫶
✨ This year we want to focus on friendship.
The uniqueness of this edition lies in the fact that most of the performances and concerts will feature our friends, colleagues, and artists with whom we have become close, especially thanks to their past participation in VNS. 💕 Of course, we will also bring some fresh new names to Považská. 😉
We will gradually share details about the program, starting already next Monday evening with the announcement of the first names. 🪩
📌 The subtitle of this edition is VNS & friends – because in these difficult times, we want to support one another. Art always reflects the times in which it is created, and this year we emphasize the power of community, friendship, family, and solidarity.
The In a New Light Festival is one of many events in Slovakia that did not receive support from the Slovak Arts Council, despite its previous success. This year, the festival is being held thanks to the grant system of European Capital of Culture Trenčín 2026. We are deeply grateful for their support.
