We warmly invite you to a special Christmas concert by HRDZA, one of the most distinctive world music bands in Slovakia. The event will take place as part of the Christmas market Čaro Vianoc pod hradom on Mierové námestie. Entry to the concert is free.
The Prešov-based band HRDZA is among the top acts of Slovak world music. Their original songs draw strongly from Slovak musical traditions. They are well-known for hits such as Taká sa mi páči, Slovensko moje, otčina moja, and Štefan.
In 2025, they celebrate 25 years on the music scene, during which they have released six studio albums and one compilation. Their last three albums placed in the TOP 10 of the prestigious World Music Charts Europe (WMCE) – the highest historical ranking for any Slovak band since the chart was established in 1991.
You may also know the band from television competitions such as Eurovision Song Contest 2010 and Česko Slovensko má talent 2016. Their music video Hrdza – Štefan is the most-viewed Slovak music video abroad, with more than 44 million views.
