We invite you to the final conference of the Creative Partnerships for Primary Schools project, where we will present the results and experiences from its implementation during the 2025/2026 school year at six primary schools in Trenčín.
The project is part of the internationally recognised Creative Partnerships programme led by the Hungarian organisation T-Tudok. Its aim is to bring more art, creativity, and creative learning into the school environment and to explore new ways of making lessons more engaging and actively involving pupils in the learning process.
At the heart of the project was collaboration between teachers and creative practitioners and artists, who worked together to develop creative and interactive approaches to teaching the existing curriculum. The artist brings their creative perspective and experience into the classroom, while the teacher contributes pedagogical expertise and knowledge of pupils’ needs. Together, they create space for children to develop critical thinking, collaboration, curiosity, independence, and creativity. The project is not about arts education as such, but about using creative methods in the teaching of different subjects.
At the final conference, we will look back at the course of the project and present its implementation, results, and findings from schools in Trenčín. We will hear about the experiences of the coordinators and creative practitioners involved in the programme. The event will also include a practical workshop offering inspiration for work in schools.
