Daily workshops focused on physical theatre, designed for selected professionals in the performing arts, offer an intensive space for movement research, creativity, and international exchange of experience.
The programme is developed in collaboration with partners Ilmatila Helsinki (FI), Community Circus Galway (IE), and Ésacto’Lido Toulouse (FR), who bring a wide range of European approaches to contemporary circus and physical theatre.
Each day is dedicated to a different discipline within physical theatre and contemporary circus. As Slovakia does not have a strong historical tradition in this genre, the module supports its gradual integration into the professional arts environment and creates opportunities for the development of professional skills, international collaboration, and the exchange of expertise.
The programme is intended for selected participants. Participants will also receive the Slovak version of the practical guide Circus LAB by Jackie Leigh Davis.

The programme also includes an open circus workshop for children, introducing selected contemporary circus techniques and movement-based creative practices through playful activities.
