Lash&Grey rank among the most distinctive and successful musical acts to have emerged in Slovakia in recent years. Their original songwriting, elegance, and exceptional musical maturity have opened the doors to the world’s most prestigious stages—from the legendary Carnegie Hall in New York, through festivals in Mexico City and Paris, to leading European jazz scenes such as Jazz Baltica, Nancy Jazz Pulsations, and the Avignon Jazz Festival, as well as three successful tours of Italy. Their music has also been featured on the French television channel ARTE, and to date they have performed in 14 countries worldwide.
Singer Kristína Mihaľová has also gained international recognition—she was the only European to reach the TOP 5 in the prestigious Sarah Vaughan Jazz Vocal Competition in New Jersey in 2022.
The Lash&Grey project has received numerous major awards, including the Anděl Award for Best Slovak Album Blossom Of Your World, as well as two Radio_Head Awards for Best Debut (Sleepin’ With The Lights On) and Single of the Year (After War).
