One evening, two worlds. Alice in WonderBand is a Serbian duo that turns the body into an instrument – blending Balkan world music with body percussion, theatre, dance and vocals. Ana Vrbaški and Marko Dinjaški have been creating together since 1998 and their performances are as physical as they are musical. Their debut album RikaTaka reached the top 10 of the World Music Charts Europe. In 2026 they release their new album The Courage to be Afraid. Ildikó Kali Trio draws on a different kind of courage – diving into the archaic poetry of Ján Botto’s folk ballads and transforming them into a contemporary language. A Slovak-African fusion, Roma poetics, regional dialects and nature motifs meet an authentic vocal expression carrying powerful emotion. The album Jore Jore won the Radio Head Awards in the World Music category in 2025.
