A joint project by three outstanding musical ensembles—the string quartet Spectrum Quartett, the folk band Nogaband, and the vocal group Ulijanky—offers an unconventional fusion of classical and folk music. The concert will be enriched by a special guest appearance by singer Simona Hulejová.
The programme Pictures from Slovakia is based on the search for inspiration between two musical worlds—folklore and classical music. The concert dramaturgy presents Slovak folk motifs alongside works by composers such as Eugen Suchoň, Ilja Zeljenka, Alexander Moyzes, Leoš Janáček, and Béla Bartók.
