Is Trenčín still a city of fashion? The exhibition From Fibre to Garment and Back invites visitors to discover the city’s rich textile tradition as well as new possibilities for sustainable fashion. Through garments, material samples, design installations and interactive elements, it traces the journey of textiles from their creation to repair and reuse. It also presents the results of the two-year LUMó programme, which brought together local communities, experienced seamstresses and tailors, designers and the general public. The exhibition is a celebration of creativity, the sharing of skills, and the people who help keep textile culture a vibrant part of Trenčín’s identity.
