Milko’s Wooden Theatre has been active since 2016 and builds on the rich tradition of Slovak and Czech puppetry, inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The performance Vĺčko Tĺčko, or Tales from the National Treasure Chest is intended primarily for the youngest audiences. The wooden puppets become the main characters of a fairy-tale world and interact directly with the children, drawing them into stories full of imagination and folk traditions.
