The history of Trenčín and the Považie region comes to life right in the city streets! During the final weekend, Trenčín city centre and the Fiesta Bridge will be transformed into places of unexpected encounters with figures from the past. Knights and costumed historical characters will mingle with visitors, recalling the stories, legends and significant events of our region.
You may encounter figures such as Elizabeth Báthory, members of the Ilešházi family, or Countess Iphigénie d’Harcourt, the last private owner of Trenčín Castle, who donated it to the city of Trenčín in 1905. But they will not simply pose for photographs – they will draw visitors into their stories, conversations and playful interactions.
