FEST ART Trenčín 2026 is the largest street art festival in the history of the city of Trenčín. It will bring large-scale murals, international artists, and a rich accompanying cultural program directly to the Juh housing estate. The project connects art, public space, and community, and contributes to the city’s visual and cultural development in the long term.
The project builds on a long-term effort to develop public space in Trenčín through high-quality contemporary art and follows the successful previous editions of the FEST ART festival. The Juh housing estate, as one of the largest residential areas in the city, has strong potential for cultural revitalization, yet lacks systematic artistic interventions in public space.
The project responds to the need to bring high-quality art directly to residents, support community life, and create a more attractive and valuable environment for everyday living. At the same time, it reflects the growing public interest in street art and the need to expand cultural activities beyond the city center.
The project is intended for the general public in Trenčín, especially residents of the Juh housing estate, families with children, young people, and visitors to the city. It appeals to fans of contemporary art and street art, as well as people who do not usually attend cultural events. Thanks to the participation of international artists, it also attracts visitors from abroad.
