Just as Tomáš Baťa spread his ideas across the world, the Baťa’s World project travels from Zlín to cities across the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Its aim is to carry the Baťa ethos of work, order and creativity beyond Zlín and to reawaken his spirit in the present day. At the heart of the project is the KOMA Baťa module – a mobile architectural unit inspired by the principles of Baťa modularity. Each stop represents a dimension of Baťa’s legacy: the philosophy of work, innovation, education, culture and social responsibility. The module becomes a travelling exhibition and an open space for dialogue and encounter, connecting past with present, idea with action, Zlín with the whole republic.
