We warmly invite you to the 18th edition of the event UNUSUAL FORMS OF WICKER 2026, which will take place on Saturday, 7 March at the Cultural House in Rudník near Myjava, starting at 10:00 AM.
This year again you can look forward to basket-weaving workshops and demonstrations of weaving techniques, a market of wicker products, films about basket weaving, and above all an exhibition of wicker works in unusual and artistic forms, all accompanied by a rich cultural programme.
During the day, performances will be given by Heligónkari from Prietrž, the children’s folklore ensemble Kopaničiarik from Myjava, and the folklore ensemble Považan from Považská Bystrica.
This project is implemented with the support of the European Capital of Culture Trenčín 2026 and the Trenčín Self-Governing Region.
