There are no better words to describe it than Olena’s own:
“Music for me is not just sounds or words. It is the touch of the soul. It is a way to speak about what matters most when words are not enough.”
The concert “Two Colors” presents Ukrainian songs about love in all its forms — love that is tender and painful, distant and near, lost and rediscovered. These songs are born from life itself — they carry joy, sorrow, faith, and memories. They span various genres, yet they are united by one thing: the sincerity of feeling.
This project was created to bring people together through music.
When Ukrainians come to the concert, they feel, if only for a moment, that they are home. Because emigration — especially forced — is a great trial. And song heals. It stitches together the torn threads of the soul and reminds us who we are.
For Slovaks, this concert is an encounter with the Ukrainian soul. The Ukrainian song is neither decorative nor superficial. It is born from pain, faith, love, and prayer. Through it, people have lived their joys and losses, their dreams and failures. That is why it is so true.
Moreover, this concert is charitable.
Olena sincerely believes that children should not suffer because of war — they are our future.
Admission to the concert is free; the only requirement is registration via the form. Everyone who attends may contribute to a fund that provides psychological assistance to children who have lost their parents in the war.
Because together, we can achieve so much.
And if each song touches even one heart — if it brings a drop of warmth, kindness, or hope — then it all has meaning.
