Every garment leaves a trace. Every garment leaves behind waste.
The question is – which trace do we want to follow, and what kind of waste do we want to leave behind?
After a successful premiere in Budapest, the exhibition The Trace & Trash of Fashion will be presented in an extended version at ŽiTo in the granary in Moravské Lieskové. From October 11 to December 19, 2025, visitors will be able to explore the hidden paths and hidden waste behind what we wear.
The exhibition contrasts two worlds of fashion – the global supply chains of fast fashion and the local, slow practices of Slovak designers Petra Weingart, Lenka Krivá, and the Musa studio.
Through two indicators – trace and trash – it reveals the differences between mass production and thoughtful creation that values craftsmanship, aesthetics, and sustainability.
