Klubovňa Trenčín 2026 – Púchov
Saturday, 7 February 2026, 6:00 PM
Miesto: Podivný Barón (Nábrežie slobody 552/1, 020 01 Púchov)
“Ten Years Against the Current”
Podivný Barón was founded on the belief that culture can be created differently: freely, independently, and with the community rather than by directive. How has the environment changed over the past ten years? What threatens independent cultural centers today, and what are their strengths? A discussion with the founders opens a topic that is still rarely addressed in Slovakia.
The discussion will also feature Andrej Rafaj, one of the founders of the civic association Mŕtva Kosť, who co-created the multi-genre music festival Končiny and will offer a perspective on the independent scene from the viewpoint of a grassroots regional festival.
Music guest: Marek Raček
